Co-ops: CLEP and AP Prep

The CLEP Professor course is licensed for use by the original purchasers and their immediate family. If you would like to teach the CLEP Professor course in a co-op class, the teacher and each family should purchase a copy of the CLEP Professor Course.

We have found it is far more efficient to first complete the high school course, then take the CLEP Professor course. DIVE and Shormann Math courses are setup on a 30 - 32 week schedule, leaving 4 weeks or so to complete the CLEP Professor course. These last four weeks could be optional, allowing students who do not plan to take a CLEP or AP exam to end at 32 weeks. If you have a student who plans to take an AP exam, please see this article: Advanced Placement Exams

To use CLEP Professor in a co-op, the teacher assigns lessons to complete at home, allowing students to learn at their own pace. In class, the student turns in lecture notes and printed copies of the completed assignments. Class time can be used to discuss/answer questions, take a teacher created quiz, and/or practice memorization of terms and definitions by playing memory games, etc.
