My student is taking a non-Saxon Prealgebra. Can he switch to Shormann Pre-Algebra

Yes, as long as your student meets the pre-requisites for this course, Dr. Shormann, recommends switching now.

However, because Shormann Prealgebra includes 21st Century topics not found in most prealgebra curriculum, it has a different sequence. So, all students should start with lesson 1 and complete all assignments as instructed.

While this may seem redundant and there may be some overlap, it will build a firm foundation for upper level math and develop fluency (speed & accuracy) that makes learning math faster and easier!
