The average lecture in Shormann Math is as follows:

- Pre-Algebra: 10-15 minutes
- Algebra 1 & 2: 15-20 minutes
- Precalculus: 20-25 minutes
- Calculus 1: 25-30 minutes
- Calculus 2: 25-30 minutes

The concepts in the first five-ten lessons are easy to understand (mostly review), so more concepts are taught and the videos are 10 -15 minutes longer. However, the questions in the Practice Sets for these lessons are also pretty easy and are usually completed in 15-20 minutes.

If your student did not use Saxon or Shormann for their previous math course, some of these lessons may not be reviewed to your student and it may take longer to complete them. That’s okay! Use the Timed Method, described on Week 1 of the eLearning course, to ensure your student can learn this material without spending more than an hour or so per day and avoid becoming frustrated or overwhelmed.
